Reference Questions

A member of the reference staff is generally available in the Law Library Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm. During other times, persons may use the Ask A Librarian Form or send an email to referencelaw@nccu.edu.

Research Projects

NCCU Reference Librarians provide high-quality short-term research assistance to faculty at NCCU Law School. To best manage our multiple and simultaneous projects, we ask you to please complete our Faculty Request Form with as much information as possible. A member of the Reference team will contact you with details about an estimated completion date. We aim to complete each faculty request as soon as possible. Still, we request faculty members provide as much advance notice as possible on every request so we may more accurately analyze the scope and complexity of the request.

Training

Faculty Research Assistants (RA) training can be coordinated with the Reference team, including topical and advanced research training to efficiently utilize online and print resources. Training and refresher sessions include print, Lexis, Westlaw, and other online resources. Particular topical areas can be incorporated that address your research needs. To request R.A. training, please fill out this form or email Reference referencelaw@nccu.edu.
