Student Practice Certification
Formerly known as the “3L Practice Rule” Certificate
Formerly known as the 3L Practice Rule, the Student Practice Certification, governed by the NC State Bar, allows law students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in practice during law school. The NC State Bar Student Certification Rule is detailed in the Rules Governing the Practical Training of Law Students, 27 NC Admin. Code 1C, Sections .0200 through .0207.
To streamline our process, NCCU School of Law has instituted an online procedure for current clinical and non-clinical students requesting practice certification. All requests must be completed online at the link below. To make a request, please complete the online form, uploading all required documents to the online portal. Only requests submitted through the online portal will be reviewed and considered. Thank you for your cooperation.
