Criminal Law and Procedure: Archived August 2020

This LibGuide highlights secondary sources that may be useful for obtaining background information regarding criminal law/procedure. In addition, it features secondary sources that can assist with the location of primary sources of law in North Carolina.

Primary Sources

Primary sources are items passed by an authorized governing body.  This includes such things as constitutions, statutues (laws), administrative regulations, and case law.  Under the pulldown menus on the "Primary Sources" tab are examples of primary sources at both the state and federal level.
