Introduction

The US Department of Veterans Affairs is responsible for the administration and determination of veteran's rights and benefits. This guide provides links and information to the most common issues veterans face including discharge upgrades, accessing military records, obtaining education benefits, and issues related to disability, compensation, pension, healthcare. Where appropriate, North Carolina specific information is included.
