Law Library Grab and Go Policy

Due to COVID-19, the NCCU Law Library is limiting access to its print collection and stacks areas, however, we are working to provide an alternate way for students to access these resources. The NCCU School of Law Library is now offering a new Grab and Go service for students.

Safety Protocols

To ensure the safety of all Law School members, law library materials will be retrieved by staff wearing masks and gloves, and will be quarantined for 24 hours before patrons will be contacted about retrieving their items. Please take this time into account and be sure to request your materials with plenty of time to spare before you need them.

Grab and Go Request Application

In order to request items, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. First, use the online catalog to find the materials you would like to check out. Please limit your requests to 5 items at a time. (Please note that you can check out more than 5 items in total, however, we are limiting requests to ensure that library staff can serve all patrons in a timely manner).
  2. Fill out the online request form.
  3. You will receive an email when your materials are ready to be picked up.
  4. Come to the Law School Library to pick up your books. Please wear a mask when entering the building. Remember: No Mask, No Service.
  5. Grab and Go hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30am-7pm, and Wednesday and Friday, 8:30am-4pm.
  6. You will have two (2) days to get to the Law Library to collect your items from the Service Desk.
